Montgomery Archaeological Consultants, Inc. (MOAC) is a cultural resource management firm, established in 1983 with offices in Moab and Vernal, Utah. Our goal is to provide clients with experienced, reliable services and on-time quality products. MOAC's professional staff possesses expertise in prehistoric and historic archaeology which assists our clients needs in meeting their regulatory requirements and complying with historic preservation laws.

In the past two decades MOAC's key personnel has worked in association with federal, state, county agencies, and private industries performing cultural resource inventories; evaluating properties for National Register of Historic Places (NRHP); and preparing technical reports documenting avoidance, preservation, and treatment of significant cultural resources.

We complete all cultural resources investigations according to accepted professional standards that are consistent with the Secretary of Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Archaeological and Historic Preservation. We hold annual permits for conducting archaeological investigations on state and federal lands in Utah and western Colorado.
