MOAC has provided cultural, paleontological, and historic architectural expertise to the Utah Department of Transportation (contracted since 1998) and engineering firms for the successful completion of hundred of projects. Our experience includes performing Class I literature reviews, intensive inventories, research designs, site testing and mitigation, and monitoring. Our company is committed in preparing detailed, informative cultural resource data, detailed and accurate ArcGIS maps, and reports acceptable to all state and federal agencies.

MOAC's staff includes qualified historical architects that have completed numerous historic building inventories in accordance with Utah State Intensive Level Survey and Utah State Reconnaissance Survey standards. Our paleontologist(s) have completed a variety of fossil inventories and monitoring projects for highway construction, gravel pits, and hydraulic undertakings. Our GIS department has extensive experience in providing electronic site documentation and locational information in various standard GIS formats. MOAC's team of specialists has the ability to mobilize quickly to both cultural and fossil discovery situations during construction operations.
