MOAC has successfully completed numerous projects for the oil and gas industry on the Colorado Plateau and in the Great Basin. Over 1000 inventory projects have been completed for well pads, access roads, and pipelines involving rapid mobilization of field crews. In the past two years, our firm has intensively surveyed individual sections and townships encompassing over 400 sq. miles in the Uinta Basin in close coordination with federal, state, and tribal agencies.

MOAC assists our clients in routing projects away from sensitive resources during advanced cultural resource planning stage to keep costs low and projects moving forward. The discovery of cultural resources early in the process provides the opportunity to avoid cultural resources or to reduce project impacts to them. Our staff ethnographer is available to assist our clients in meeting the Native American consultation requirements in preparation of Environmental Impact Statements (EIS's) and in the treatment of Traditional Cultural Properties (TCP's).
