Government Agencies
MOAC's staff of professional archaeologists has extensive experience in identifying, evaluating, and mitigation effects to all types of cultural resources in a variety of settings across the northern Colorado Plateau. Since 2004, our firm has held a contract with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR) successfully completing dozens of projects involving Class III inventories, evaluating properties to the National Register of Historic Places, preparing technical reports, and treatment of significant cultural resources.
MOAC has participated in several costshares with the Bureau of Land Management since 1998 demonstrating our long standing relationships with government regulators. The aim of these excavation projects is to promote scientific and public awareness of the remarkable cultural heritage of such places as Nine Mile Canyon.
MOAC is fully equipped and staffed to conduct data recovery at all levels of effort. Our analytical capabilities include ceramic, lithic, faunal, historic artifacts, and laboratory curation. We have curation agreements with the Utah Museum of Natural History, College of Eastern Utah Museum, and Edge of the Cedars Museum.
